Benson Misco Shiholo, a Kenyan publishing expert, holds a Master of Philosophy and Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences from Moi University. He worked as a Registrar at Oshwal College and as a Senior Editor at East African Educational Publishers Limited. Prior to joining the publishing industry, he was an editorial consultant with several Kenyan publishing companies. Shiholo's interests include scholarly works, fiction, self-help, biographies, and textbook genres. He is an accomplished researcher who has mentored undergraduate students and assessed manuscripts for self-publishing authors. He is a member of the Kenya Association of Publishers’ Editorial Committee and regularly publishes in KPA Magazine. He has attended various courses, including Digital Publishing and Marketing in Africa, Effective Leadership and Capacity Building Workshop, Publishing and Book Production, 2014 Digital Publishing Readiness, ICT Integration in Content Development and Publishing, E-learning and Publishing Workshop for Publishers, and Regional Education Conference on E-Learning. Currently, he is a private information, publishing, library, and records consultant based in Nairobi, Kenya, teaching Scholarly Journal Publishing at Moi University and serving as a sub-editor for Sage Magazine.
