Peter Maina Muthigani holds a postgraduate diploma in project management for rural development projects from Nordisk Landboskole, Denmark, and a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Nairobi. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) and the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). His experience spans over 35 years, with over 26 of those years dedicated to consulting work. He brings hands-on experience in Galool Development Consulting Company related water conservation and use solutions in Kenya, Somalia, Malawi, Togo, Uganda and Tanzania with special emphasis in water harvesting and storage, water infrastructure for domestic, livestock and crop production including providing best practices solutions in natural resources management. He has extensive experience in using participatory approaches to research, consensus building on proposed solutions and their implementation modalities.
